Lucky Sods Lucky Sods was written by John Godber and was first performed by the Hull Truck Theatre Company in April 1995. The story is based around Jean and Morris Sod, who are National Lottery addicts. Elaborate means are used to devise the numbers which they hope will whisk them away from their mundane and ordinary lives. However, are they sure that money will buy them happiness, and is good luck really measured by six small balls on a Saturday night?
